About
Imperial MSc Advanced Computing graduate, interested in systems engineering and forward-deployed positions, looking for a role in London, Amsterdam or Prague.
I finished my MSc in Advanced Computing at Imperial in September 2026. I'm interested in systems engineering and performance work, and that interest got specific during the Networked Systems course, where I was introduced to eBPF and DPDK and wanted to keep going. So I did my master's thesis in that area. AccNet lets an unmodified application skip the Linux network stack: eBPF intercepts its socket system calls and hands the data to a DPDK transport. Most of the work was in the gap between what the application expects from a socket and what a bypass can give it without the application noticing. That's the kind of problem I want to keep working on.
Before Imperial I did my BSc in Computer Science at VU Amsterdam (Honours Programme, cum laude, GLOBE Scholarship), with an exchange semester at HKUST. I spent three summers at MicroStep in Bratislava, the first on data analysis and the next two writing software for CNC machine automation.
I'm looking for a graduate or junior role in London, Amsterdam or Prague. Two kinds interest me: a networking, kernel, performance or cloud-infrastructure team, or a forward-deployed engineering role. I like working directly with clients, and I like learning new things, which forward-deployed work is full of.
Outside work I play football and tennis.
